That is the time for the embassy route, from a correct submission. The application goes from the Azerbaijan Embassy in New Delhi, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the certificate returns to the embassy.
What delays an Azerbaijan PCC
An application letter without every required detail, fingerprints that are smudged or on the wrong card, a missing old passport copy, or missing visa and stay permit copies. We check each of these before submission.

I left Azerbaijan 5 years ago. Can I still get an Azerbaijan PCC?
Yes. Your residence history stays on record with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. You can apply however long ago you left, as long as you have the required documents, including the passport with the Azerbaijani visa stamps from that period.
Do I need to visit the Azerbaijan Embassy in person?
No. Trueway submits the application for you through the accepted process. You do not need to visit the embassy yourself.
The certificate will be in Azerbaijani. Will the country I am submitting to accept it?
Most immigration authorities and licensing bodies accept it when a certified English translation is attached. Trueway advises on translation and on apostille or legalisation for your destination country.
I need this for UK immigration. Does the Azerbaijan PCC need an apostille?
Azerbaijan is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, but a certificate issued through the embassy in India cannot be apostilled. Only the certificate issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Azerbaijan itself can be. Tell us where you will submit it and we advise the route.
I am in the UAE or another country now. Can I apply?
Yes. You apply through the Azerbaijan Embassy or Consulate in the country where you live, or you give a representative in India a notarised Power of Attorney to apply through the embassy in New Delhi. We can coordinate it from India when you send the documents digitally.
How early should I apply?
The embassy route takes up to 8 weeks, and most authorities want a certificate that is not older than 6 months when you submit it. Starting 3 to 4 months before your submission date gives you room.
