For dentists: Australia and Canada
ADC Exam Coaching for Dentists
To register as a dentist in Australia with a degree from India, you pass the assessment of the Australian Dental Council (ADC): an initial assessment, a written examination and a practical examination. Our online coaching prepares dentists for the ADC exam, and for the exams of the National Dental Examining Board (NDEB) if you are aiming for Canada.

Who is this coaching for?
Dentists with a degree from outside Australia or Canada.
Dentists heading to Australia
The ADC exam is needed for registration with the Dental Board of Australia when your degree is from outside Australia and New Zealand.
Dentists heading to Canada
The NDEB exams are needed for a dental licence in Canada when your degree is from a programme the NDEB does not accredit, such as a degree from India.
Before you start
For the ADC, your degree must be at least four years of full-time study at a recognised university. The ADC checks this in its initial assessment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about the ADC and NDEB exams and our coaching.
What is the ADC exam?
It is the assessment of the Australian Dental Council for dentists whose degree is from outside Australia and New Zealand. It has three stages: an initial assessment of your degree, a written examination and a practical examination. After it, you apply for registration with the Dental Board of Australia through Ahpra.
What is the ADC written examination like?
It is computer-based and held over two days with Pearson VUE: 280 scenario-based multiple-choice questions in four sections of 70, with two hours for each section. It runs twice a year. A pass from March 2026 is valid for five years.
Where is the ADC practical examination held?
At the ADC's examination centre in Melbourne. It takes two days: a technical skills day and a clinical skills day. You must take it within five years of passing the written examination.
Can I take the ADC written exam in India?
The ADC says the written exam is held at Pearson VUE test centres around the world and that you may have to travel outside your home country. It does not list India. Check the venues when you apply.
What are the ADC fees?
The ADC charges separately for the initial assessment, the written examination and the practical examination, and lists the current amounts on its fees page. These fees are paid to the ADC. We confirm them, and our coaching fee, on WhatsApp.
Which English test do I need for Australia?
For tests taken from 23 April 2026, the Dental Board of Australia accepts IELTS Academic (7 overall, 6.5 in writing and 7 in the other bands), OET, PTE Academic and TOEFL iBT at Ahpra's minimum scores. At-home tests are not accepted.
What is the NDEB process for Canada?
For a dentist whose degree the NDEB does not accredit, its Equivalency Process has three exams in order: the Assessment of Fundamental Knowledge (AFK), the Assessment of Clinical Judgement (ACJ) and the National Dental Examination of Clinical Competence (NDECC, in Ottawa). Then the Virtual OSCE leads to NDEB certification, and the dental regulator of your province gives the licence.
Where are the NDEB exams held, and what do they cost?
The NDEB lists the AFK and the ACJ in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, not in India. Each step has its own NDEB fee, listed on the NDEB's website; we confirm the current fees on WhatsApp.
Is the coaching online?
Yes. The coaching is online, so you can join from anywhere in India or the Gulf.
Can coaching promise that I pass?
No. The result is decided by the exam. Coaching gives you the syllabus, the practice and the guidance; no coaching can promise a pass result.
What does the coaching cost?
Connect with the Trueway team on WhatsApp. We confirm the fee and the next batch before you decide.
Is Trueway part of the ADC or the NDEB?
No. Trueway is an independent exam-preparation provider and is not affiliated with the Australian Dental Council, the Dental Board of Australia, Ahpra or the National Dental Examining Board of Canada.
