What German authorities ask for
Germany has no single national rule. Your nursing qualification is recognised by the authority of the federal state (Land) where you intend to work, and each one sets its own document list.
Berlin's authority, for example, asks nurses and doctors from outside the EU for a certificate of good standing (Leumundszeugnis) from the competent authority of the country where they practised, no older than 3 months when they submit it. Copies must be certified by a public authority.
For an Indian nurse, that certificate comes from your state council: KNMC, TNNMC, the Karnataka State Nursing Council and so on. Check your state authority's list first, then request the certificate close to the time you submit.
